Rescue of vessels at sea
MMC has experience in refloating vessels.
This is a delicate task in which a multitude of factors must be taken into account: the location of the vessel to be rescued, the cargo (if available) and its location, the size of the vessel, the tides, ….. Therefore, before carrying out this operation, all these variables are analysed in detail in order to determine the best action to be taken.
Complete cleaning of the ship: propeller, hull, etc., by ROV.
During the voyages made by ships, the hull accumulates a quantity of marine life, microalgae, etc. which, as it accumulates, makes the ship more seaworthy and increases refuelling costs by increasing the ship’s residence at sea.
This situation is improved by the complete cleaning of the ships’ hulls, which is carried out by means of an ROV (Remote Operated Vehicle), thus speeding up the cleaning process and shortening the time required to carry out the cleaning tasks.
The waste generated during the cleaning process is not discharged into the sea, but is collected for subsequent waste management.
